10/26/24 Update – Tyson has been at “doggy boot camp” for a couple of weeks working with a behavioralist/trainer. The main focus of his training is working on listening and not jumping. Another reason is (as strange as it sounds) is to teach him to walk on hard surfaces. Anytime his feet touch tile, hardwood, or laminate he would freeze in position and splay his legs out…not moving at all. That has diligently been worked on and he has made great progress. Tyson is super sweet, goofy, loves attention, gets along great with others, house trained and crate-trained. The trainer has high hopes for him, and everyone who has met him absolutely loves him. We will keep you updated on his progress, and once he heads back to his foster home, expect to see lots of new pictures of this handsomely sweet boy!
10/6/24 Update – This boy….he is super sweet, LOVES to snuggle, gets along well with other dogs(unsure of cats), goofy personality, and plenty of stubbornness…. Tyson is one week away from finishing his doxy for his pre-heart worm treatment, he is scheduled for his neuter and then will finish his treatment. He will then be ready for his forever family. If you are ready for this awesome bully boy to entertain you and be a loyal companion…he might be the perfect one for you
9/23 Update – Tyson went to the vet today and was a big friendly hit with the staff and some of the other visitors. His skin is much better, with no signs of infection. He is 69 lbs of solid muscle. He did get made fun of because he is not a fan of hardwood floors, so he “couldn’t” walk, and our super vet went and got him a mat to stand on and then everything was good! This silly big-headed boy is heartworm-positive and has an appointment for his neuter. He will be available for adoption soon.
9/6 – Please welcome Tyson to the rescue! This sweet boy was so stressed at the rural shelter he was dropped off at…he will be making his way to his foster home soon! Lots more info and new pictures coming soon!
