About Blue Ridge Boxer Rescue

Blue Ridge Boxer Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit Boxer rescue based out of Hickory, North Carolina.  Our current coverage area is throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia.  All of our rescued Boxers are in FOSTER HOMES and are not kenneled at a facility.  This way, the dogs receive one on one care, as well as the love attention that only comes from being in a family environment.  We learn their likes, dislikes, and temperament and can address any illnesses or behavior problems quickly.  They live indoors with our own pets, as they are our very own!

We have many wonderful Boxer dogs available for adoption.  An adoption donation fee is required to adopt a rescued Boxer.  This is considered a donation, and will be used to fund another rescued Boxer’s healthcare needs.  Most of our Boxers come from high kill shelters.  Some of our rescue Boxers were picked up as strays by Animal Control.  Some of them have been surrendered by their owners due to divorce, death, financial problems, etc.  If you are interested in adopting from our rescue, please fill out an Adoption Application today.  Blue Ridge Boxer Rescue’s Boxers are adopted to INDOOR HOMES ONLY!  We thoroughly screens applicants and checks references.  Please feel free to browse our through our available dogs!

What People Say

I am so proud and elated that I found Blue Ridge Boxer Rescue. Everyone I was in contact with was so very nice, understanding and immediately became good friends…
I cannot begin to express the gratitude I have for Blue Ridge for putting the three of us together.

A few months ago, my husband and I decided we were ready to open our home up to another boxer. We were so happy to find Blue Ridge Boxer Rescue’s website. After looking through the available males section we found him. Ruger is a fawn boxer with a little white smudge on his nose. He is also a three-legged boxer….Thank you so much BRBR for giving us the chance to make a difference in Ruger’s life. He has become such an amazing part of our family.

We adopted Juneau aka Chrysler four years ago.  He has since earned his UKC novice agility title, starred in a local commercial and just recently earned his first leg towards his AKC Novice agility title! Juneau took first place with a perfect score and a course time of 23.53! He is the best dog and we can never thank BRBR enough!
