Martha(fawn)and Snoop(brindle) were rescued from a disgusting situation by a kind neighbor who took them to the shelter. The shelter, like all the shelters in the last year , was already overcrowded, and dogs that are surrendered can be euthanized within 24 hours. It is a good shelter and they try their best to avoid that.
We were asked to help. While we are full, we couldn’t say no. These two are only friendly with one another, so will need to be in a home as an only dog. They have been in boarding for quite some time now. Their medical needs have been addressed, and they really need to get out of boarding.
We understand that the chance of getting them adopted together is slim, so we are hoping to place them as single dogs, which would be much better than having them remain in boarding. They are beautiful purebred boxers, and in a home with no other dogs, they will make great companions. Please look at them, and open your heart and home to one of them.
