April 2024 Update:
From Dasher’s foster family. This boy needs/deserves his forever family! ”I cannot say enough great things about Dasher. He could definitely win the high jump without even trying. He has yet to meet a stranger, and tonight he tried to share his toy with the cat. He is able to entertain himself for hours with toys and is surprisingly gentle with everyone in the house.
Dasher is the happiest boy you could meet and so well-behaved. He still gets excited and tries to pull on the leash, but I think that will stop as he gets older. He loves snuggling with the kids. We let him sleep in the living room last night (not crated); he did not do anything! I would completely trust him to have free roam.” He checks so many of the boxes for what people are looking for in a dog, it’s so hard to believe that he’s not been snatched up already!!
March 2024 Update:
Dasher has been moved to a new foster home because his previous foster family moved. With this move, Dasher has been introduced to children in the home and he LOVES them. He also loves the dog toy bin. He has adjusted really well to his new environment and loves his foster family. However, he is waiting for his forever family. Could it be you? If so, put in your application today!
January 2024 Update:
Dasher is really coming into his own and learning to be a good boy! He is trying his best to wait (maybe not patiently though) for guests to speak to him when they enter. He will wait for permission to eat after putting his food down. He is also trying hard not to beg but that’s hard for this growing boy. Dasher will also go straight to his kennel when he knows his foster mom has to leave for work. Dash is going to make a family very happy
December 2023:
Can you believe this nugget is still waiting for his forever home?! He only has one thing on his Christmas list, and that’s his very own family…..ok, maybe two things, his family, and squeaky toys. From his foster family:
“This little love bug is wishing for a furever family for Christmas. He is definitely relaxed and made himself right at home. He loves any toy that squeaks (so he can crush it)! He eats like a champ and will never be late to the dinner party! In fact, he will make sure you’re not late either! He loves to play keep away from his fursister but she is teaching him the womanly way that what’s hers is hers and what’s his is also hers! He is improving on the leash and learning that real gentlemen do not pull. Who wants to grant his wish?”
