12/2/24 Update – Laney had her vet visit this morning, and she is 55.4 lbs. Hopefully, she will start gaining since she is no longer nursing, she is heartworm-negative and is overall in good health. She does have hookworms, but she will have meds for that this evening and will need a recheck in three weeks to ensure they are gone. She was very calm when her ears were cleaned and her nails clipped. The vet and staff were very impressed with how sweet she is. Laney will need to be spayed after gaining a little more weight, then she will be ready for her forever family

11/27/24 – Please welcome Laney to the rescue. Laney is the momma to the 5 puppies. She is about a year and a half old. As you can see, this poor girl needs some groceries! Laney has an appointment with the vet on Monday, so we will have a full medical report at that time. She will also be spayed as soon as she is medically cleared. Her foster mom said she is very sweet and has done very well with the male resident dogs. More to come on this little family,
