July 14, 2024: Odessa continues to impress us. She has gotten to know the other dogs and it is going really well. She definitely is dog-friendly. We are working with her on other commands and she’s doing great. Every time we take her out, she rolls in the grass or does zoomies. It’s so fun to watch. She loves cheese and peanut butter. She is a people dog and will melt in your lap. She does very well overnight and waits for you to get up in the morning. She has so many faces and they all just melt your heart. But those ears…she’s got a big personality wrapped up in a little wiggly package.

June 3, 2024 Update: Odessa, aka “Sophia Loren” per her foster family, is settling in well. This girl is tiny but feisty, sweet, submissive, and has this smoky, smoldering look when she is being petted. Feisty, meaning she is playful. After being praised for going potty outside, she had some bursts of energy, jumping, and was happy to hear being called a good girl. She’s sweet because she leans her head on you and loves to lick faces. Her tail went 1,000 miles per minute when approached for the first time by her foster Dad. And this girl has a constant smile complimented with such perfect perky ears and cinnamon-red fur. She’s not overly strong, but she does get excited and does very well on the leash. May 30, 2024 – Welcome Odessa to the rescue.  Just look at that smile!! She was saved from death row! She is settling into her foster home. More news to come on this sweet girl, soon.
