Lucy 2017

Lucy 2017

Lucy has been in her foster home for three weeks. She is feeling much better and has really come out of her shell in her foster home. She loves all people and so far has not met a stranger. Lucy is a sweet little girl with the cutest little boxer pout. Our sweet Lucy has a very calm, easy demeanor but she is also very playful and does enjoy the occasional rip around the yard to get the energy out, especially after she has been in the crate for a bit. Lucy likes to bounce around and plays in true boxer fashion and we think she would love a playmate (fur or skin!) that enjoys the same. After playtime she is very quick to find her bed and settle down with her people. She is content to lay on her bed in the sun for hours if her people are nearby. She loves a good face and ear rub and will snore away with her little face in your hands. Lucy is quiet and calm in the crate. She is a smart girl and has taken note very quickly of the way that treats work. She has paid attention to her foster fur sister, Scout, and she has taken to sitting automatically or running to the crate when the treats come out. We are working on basic commands. Lucy is housebroken and has had no accidents since arriving in her foster home. She’s been paying attention to her fursister again and even rang the bells on the door to go out. Lucy-See, Lucy-Do. She walks well on a leash and enjoys checking out everything outdoors. We just know that there is a perfect forever family out there for Sweet Lucy. Could that be you???

Lucy is going to be happiest with a fenced in yard. It does not have to be a big fenced in area but she will need a fenced in area.

  • Needs work on:  Basic obedience (we are working on commands) Caught counter surfing but hasn’t offered to do it again since.
