Rosita 2017

Hello, My name is Rosita. I am about 6 years old. My foster mom says I am a dream girl. I get along with everyone I meet. Dogs, big and small, cats, kids, birds, you name it, I love them all. I am calm and gentle but will break out in a boxer wiggle when I hear you come home or when you take me out to play. I would do best in a home that has another dog that could help serve as my eyes and doesn’t mind when I bump into them or lean on them for guidance. I lost my eyesight when I was just a puppy. It was probably from an infection that wasn’t treated and caused damage to my retinas. I have seen a special eye doctor and I won’t get my sight back. I will need drops a few times a week for the rest of my life but I don’t mind. Being blind doesn’t stop me from doing anything you do! I enjoy talking walks and exploring the world around me through smells and sounds. Car rides are the best. I hang my head out the window and my cheeks flap away in the wind. I learn my surroundings quickly and navigate my foster home like I’ve lived here forever. If I sound like the perfect match please fill out an application for me, Rosita!
