Layla 2017

Layla is looking for the perfect family! She was pulled from a shelter the end of January. She’s been adjusting to indoor life beautifully. We do know she doesn’t do well with cats, she thinks they are furry toys. She does well with her two foster siblings (dogs) but it took her almost 2 weeks before she wanted to interact with them, so she needs very slow introductions. She will not be a dog you could take to the dog park. She loves to play in the fenced back yard but is a fence jumper so will always need supervision when outside. She would be ok with leashed exercise if there is not a fenced area. She loves to chew on bones and antlers and does not seem interested in soft toys. She is crate trained, but would be good with free roam. She loves to cuddle on the couch and will follow you all around the house. Layla walks very well on a leash and loves going on adventures. She is very sweet, has the classic boxer wiggle, and gives lots of kisses. She is starting her heartworm treatment March 7 and will be finished sometimes in April.
